Bed & Breakfast

Your resident hosts, Betty and Bede, have created a warm and friendly atmosphere at Ashbank. Through their Middle-east travels, they have spent many years within a multi-cultural background and offer a wealth of experience.

Although easily accessible by air, rail and road, Ashbank remains a quiet haven in an otherwise busy part of Central Scotland. Within walking distance of Polmont Train Station (courtesy pick-ups) : 3 minutes drive from M9 motorway access/exit and 20 minutes drive from Edinburgh International Airport. We have adequate off-street parking.

For the more active, Falkirk attracts members of the Rambler's Association and the CTC with cycle hire facilities and many fine walks nearby. The Union Canal and the Falkirk Wheel are only a short distance away, as is the Falkirk Monument and Callendar House. Visit Linlithgow Palace and Loch which is populated by many different breeds of wildfowl and a leisurely walk round the loch takes you through grazing sheep.
Muiravonside Country Park and Beecraigs Country Park are interesting places to visit where you can try your hand at fishing or pass the time of day watching the docile 'heilan' coos!

The international port of Grangemouth is a destination point for many business travellers who find our easily accessed location a plus after a busy day. Grangemouth Stadium hosts many major athletics competitions and the larger hotels play hostS to conferences and weddings.
